Moscow is the latest stop for the UAE's ultra-low-fare national airline Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.

The new route will take off in December starting off with four flights per week (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday) before expanding to daily services in February.

The latest addition takes the airline's total destinations to 33 since it launched operations in January 2021.

"Today’s announcement marks another important step in the ramp-up of our Abu Dhabi operations in light of the easing of travel restrictions," said József Váradi, Group CEO of Wizz Air.

"The travel route between the UAE and Russia has for a long time been popular and we’re looking forward to increasing traffic between the two countries," added Kees Van Schaick, Managing Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.
