An attempt to hack the website of the Philippine Central bank has been foiled, according to its governor. It comes after a warning from SWIFT – the global financial network, which said its system had been targeted by multiple cyber fraud attempts. In February, more than AED 295 million was stolen from the Bangladesh Central Bank and New York Federal Reserve Bank. Investigations are underway into what was one of the biggest cybercrimes in history.
