Adele planning 5-year break

Adele is reportedly planning to take a five-year break. The 'Hello' hitmaker has only just returned from a three-year hiatus but is keen to step away from the limelight yet again once her world tour wraps up later this year because she wants to spend time with her three-year-old son Angelo. A source told The Sun newspaper: "She has told her closest pals she will step away from the limelight for five years before she next brings out an album. She's still very new to motherhood and doesn't want to miss out on Angelo growing up. It will be a hard thing for fans to hear." However, the 27-year-old singer had recently teased fans about the possibility of a new release by the end of the year. Speaking to her fans during her first gig at Belfast's SSE Arena in Northern Ireland earlier this month, she said: "There may be a new song towards the end of the shows." But the brunette beauty will need to get cracking if she wants a new release this year, as she has admitted she's yet to pull out a pen and paper and start penning some lyrics. She added: "I haven't written anything yet, though!" And, although she left fans waiting four years for her album '25', Adele is determined to do all she can to make Angelo, whom she has with partner Simon Konecki, proud of her. She said: "In between my albums I popped out a baby. It is the greatest thing I ever did. Now I have complete purpose. I want him to be proud of me and understand why I do this."
