Jon Bon Jovi talks woman down from bridge

Jon Bon Jovi has been praised for rescuing a woman on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville on Tuesday night.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Bon Jovi helped persuade the woman, who was clinging to the bridge’s ledge, to come to safety. 

In surveillance video released by the police, the rock legend, who was filming a music video on the bridge at the time, is seen speaking with the distressed woman and helping her back over the ledge then walking with her to safety.

Police Chief John Drake praised Bon Jovi's actions, stating, "It takes all of us to help keep each other safe".
