Kaley Cuoco reportedly split from Ryan Sweeting because he was allegedly "addicted to painkillers." The 'Big Bang Theory' actress filed for divorce from her tennis player husband just days ago after he refused to seek help for his alleged "dependency" on a prescribed drug. A source told Us Weekly magazine: "She supported him but she said he couldn't make the commitment to get sober." The family friend also revealed Kaley is "devastated" their marriage didn't work and has now been "sworn off dating." The 28-year-old athlete, who was arrested for driving under the influence [DUI] in 2006, was reportedly prescribed the painkillers after he underwent surgery on his back last year. The insider has claimed Ryan promised to check into rehab in Boston but, by the the time he agreed, it was too late. Kaley, 29, filed for divorce from her handsome beau citing "irreconcilable differences" just days after news of their shocking split began to surface around the globe. The couple signed a pre-nuptial agreement one month before their marriage on December 31, 2013 and she has listed their date of separation as September 3, 2015. Kaley's net worth is approximately $45 million, while Ryan is believed to be worth $2 million. Her divorce filing states that property and spousal support information is detailed in the pre-nuptial agreement. Following news of the split, Kaley deleted all traces of her estranged husband on Instagram and unfollowed him across her various social media accounts.
