Tom Hiddleston joins Instagram

Tom Hiddleston has joined Instagram. The 35-year-old actor celebrated the return of his Marvel character Loki by posting a picture from the set of 'Thor: Ragnarok'. He simply captioned the photo: "He's back!" And Tom recently revealed he is excited to return to his role as Thor and likened it to "seeing an old friend again". He said: "It's amazing to be back, amazing. I've only shot for about a week but it's so much fun, because I haven't played the character for three and a half years and the script is brilliant, [director] Taika Waititi is brilliant. I've shot a couple of scenes and it's just the best fun. It is like seeing an old friend again." Meanwhile, Tom - who is dating Taylor Swift - is currently celebrating after his television series 'The Night Manager' earned 12 Emmy award nominations He said: "I'm so proud of 'The Night Manager' and the work everybody did in it and to see it nominated for 12 [Emmys]. "To see Hugh Laurie nominated and Olivia Colman and [director] Susanne Bier, it's really, really thrilling. You never know when you make something when it is going to catch fire and people will receive it with the same passion in which it was made and it felt like that, so it's really exciting." Tom's personal life has been thrust into the public eye as of late after it was revealed he is dating Taylor but he insists the new attention doesn't overly bother him as he knows what is "authentic" and what isn't. When asked if the focus on his personal life bothers him, he said: "I don't know, it comes down to being authentic. "Everything you do you have to make sure you truly believe in it and as long as you know that, it doesn't matter what anyone else says about it because the nature of being a public figure is that everyone will have an opinion about anything you do, and as long as you know why you've done something and you've committed to it with authenticity then you're OK."
