Dubai Summer Surprises unveils packed schedule

The Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has launched its most extensive programme yet for Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), running from June 28 to September 1.

This year promises unbeatable deals, exciting shows, and fantastic prizes throughout the summer with the aim of delivering an entertaining experience for residents and visitors alike, reinforcing Dubai's reputation as a top global shopping and leisure destination.

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of DFRE, emphasised that this year's DSS features the largest summer lineup ever seen, with thousands of offers and activities.

DSS begins with an opening weekend celebrations on June 28 at select Dubai malls. Activities include artistic and entertainment shows featuring performers like the Quick Style dance group, Autostrad performance group, Dana Salah, and Ali Gatie.

On the same day, the DSS 12 Hour Sale will offer discounts of up to 90 per cent across over 100 brands at selected malls from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Modesh World, celebrating its 25th anniversary, will host 170 rides and attractions, including new features like the Inflatable Park and Animal World Play Area, arcade games, VR experiences, and more.

Additionally, the launch of Movie Magic at cinemas across Dubai promises daily surprises and instant prizes during the opening weekend.

The summer's Beat the Heat concert series returns for its third edition at Dubai World Trade Centre, focusing on Indie Arabic music, showcasing Dubai's diverse cultural offerings.
