Global Village, the region’s leading multicultural family destination is set to welcome guests to a themed atmosphere that embodies the nation’s pride and unity in celebration of the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad from November 25 to December 4.
In line with this year’s #ZayedAndRashid campaign, honouring the UAE’s founding fathers and strengthening national identity, the park will offer a range of activations and experiences celebrating the spirit of unity.
Cultural performances will take centre stage, with the Main Stage hosting the grand theatrical operetta Hawa Emarati from December 1-3.
The production, featuring over 40 artists, will take place twice daily (7:05 PM and 9:40 PM) showcasing nine breathtaking scenes depicting an Emirati wedding that unfolds before the union and follows the bride and groom as they witness the founding of the UAE in 1971.
Additional cultural performances, including those by Emirati bands Liwa and Harbiyah will also be featured across the park.
Guests can also enjoy spectacular fireworks displays daily from November 29 to December 3 at 9:00 PM, lighting up the night sky in the UAE flag’s colours. On December 2, a special drone show, themed around #ZayedAndRashid, will be a major highlight of the celebrations.
For those looking to shop, special UAE-themed souvenirs will be available at the UAE Pavilion, the 971 from the Community Pavilion, and the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation Pavilion. The Heritage Village will also offer a range of authentic Emirati handicrafts and shopping options.
Visitors can indulge in traditional Emirati cuisine, including popular dishes like Luqaimat and Ragag Bread, at various kiosks across the venue.
