Global Village is set to open its doors on Wednesday evening, for its 29th season, and will mark the occasion with a spectacular opening ceremony, featuring unique live performances.
Starting at 6pm, the opening ceremony officially opens the venue for its latest season, which is set to continue until May 11, making it the largest to date.
This season Global Village will include more than 3,500 shopping outlets, over 250 dining options, more than 40,000 shows and 200 rides, games, and attractions.
Three new pavilions - Jordan, Iraq, and Sri Lanka & Bangladesh have been added, bringing the number of pavilions to 30, representing 90 cultures from around the world.
The Floating Market and Railway Market have also received upgrades, with fresh designs and themes enhancing the dining experience.
A highlight this season is the brand-new Cyber City Danger Zone Stunt Show, featuring gravity and speed-defying stunts.
A 3D projection inside the exit dome of the Gate of the World is the latest addition to the entertainment activities at the destination, while the Dragon Lake returns with a magnificent new dragon that is twice the size of last year’s.
