The 'Hatta Winter' initiative is set to kick off, inviting residents and visitors to explore the mountainous region’s unique experiences during the cooler months.

Running from December 13 to January 22, the initiative is organised under the Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta and implemented by Brand Dubai.

Part of the #DubaiDestinations campaign, 'Hatta Winter' features an exciting lineup of five festivals, showcasing the region’s cultural, tourism and entertainment offerings. Activities are tailored to all ages, from families and adventurers to culture lovers.

Key events include the Hatta Winter Festival at Leem Lake, Hatta Cultural Nights, the Hatta Honey Festival, the Hatta Agricultural Festival, and Hatta x DSF. Each festival will offer a variety of community, cultural and entertainment experiences.

To make the festivals accessible, the RTA has provided over 1,100 parking spaces and 17 buses for internal transport.

The RTA's Hop On Hop Off buses will also operate 29 daily trips to Hatta’s top landmarks, along with the Hatta Express Service offering 14 direct trips from Dubai to Hatta.

Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson & Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office, said the first edition of the initiative in 2023 attracted over 500,000 visitors in just two weeks.

In response to this remarkable interest, the organising committee has extended this year’s activities, giving more visitors the opportunity to enjoy Hatta’s landscapes and winter activities.

This year, a comprehensive marketing campaign will spotlight Hatta’s offerings, promote local projects and support the region’s economy through extensive media coverage and promotional efforts.
