Tottenham have turned down a new bid from Bayern Munich for striker Harry Kane.
The German champions had offered around £80 million for the Spurs captain but the deal does not meet the London side’s valuation.
Both sides are still in negotiations, despite Bayern insisting this was their final offer for the star.
Kane is said to be open to a move to Munich but wants his future resolved before the start of the Premier League season, which kicks off this weekend.
The Bundesliga champions also want the situation resolved quickly otherwise they will turn their attention to other targets.
Kane scored four goals in a 5-1 pre-season friendly win against Shakhtar Donetsk last Sunday and the 30-year-old is due to travel with the squad for Tuesday’s friendly against Barcelona.
The forward, who scored 30 league goals last season, is out of contract next summer and Spurs risk losing him on a free if he’s not sold this summer.
