92% approval rate for Abu Dhabi's road warning system

Road users have given a massive thumbs up to the Urgent Alerts warning system in place across Abu Dhabi.

A significant 92 per cent of drivers surveyed said they have benefited from the messages notifying them of emergency conditions, such as heavy fog, to enhance safety and security in the Emirate.

The pro-active alerts, that call for "vigilance and caution" among road users, are created by teams working around the clock. 

Abu Dhabi's Security Media Department conducted the poll in Arabic, English and a variety of other languages to determine the impact of the system launched through the Police's smart application and social networking sites.
