COVID-19: UAE announces 435 new cases; one death

The UAE has confirmed 435 new cases of COVID-19, which takes the overall tally in the country to 65,341.

More than 72,000 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), the number of recoveries has reached 58,022 after another 113 individuals were given the all-clear.

It has also confirmed the death of one patient, bringing the total number of fatalities to 367.

This means that there are currently 6,952 active cases in the UAE.
