If you are out on the roads, do take extra caution because several areas are waterlogged.

According to Dubai Police, parts of Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Emirates Roads have been affected, in addition to some internal streets.

Drivers are being reminded to keep a safe distance between vehicles, avoid speeding and unnecessary overtaking.

The unstable weather conditions also caused some schools in Dubai to suspend classes early on Sunday.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the run of unsettled weather is expected to continue for the next few days.
