Services have been suspended at cinemas, theme parks, gyms, amusement centres and spring camps in Dubai.

The Department of Economic Development has issued the directive as part of ongoing efforts to protect public health.

It’s applicable until the end of this month.

Parks and entertainment facilities in Dubai will also be closed starting Sunday.

Authorities in the emirate had earlier called off all public events while entertainment destinations were asked to suspend operations.

Inspections will be carried out to ensure compliance with the rule.
