Dubai has been presented with the IFEA World Festival & Event City 2015 award. The International Festivals & Events Association says events are a part of Dubai’s DNA and recognized the emirate as a bustling metropolis at the forefront of the events industry. The IFEA went on to say that Dubai took the title because of its inspiring, diverse and exciting annual calendar of events covering the genres of gastronomy to sport, music to heritage and all that’s in-between. Also making the list was Coffs Harbour in Australia, Jinju City in South Korea, Louisville in the United States and Rotterdam in the Netherlands among others.
