Emirates Red Crescent builds prosthetic centre in Aden

The Emirates Red Crescent has inaugurated a refurbished Prosthetics Centre and Association for Developing People with Special Needs in Aden. The project included the construction and refitting of the buildings, in addition to infrastructure maintenance of utilities, reports said. The ERC has allocated over AED 74 million for rehabilitation and upkeep of healthcare projects in the port city. It also plans to rebuild and refurbish Khalifa Hospital, along with two others, as well as equipping and operating the Dialysis Centre at the Republic hospital, at a cost of AED 35 million.
