His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, has called on people of all ages and fitness levels to embrace an active lifestyle in order to make Dubai the most active city in the world.
Taking to this official Twitter handle, Sheikh Hamdan, who also holds the position of the Chairman of the Executive Council, made the appeal as the fifth edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge kicks off.
Running until November 27, the initiative promises thousands of free fitness events, activities and classes across the city to help participants complete 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days.

This year's action-packed calendar will see a more diverse and inclusive range of fitness activities and events than ever before - with a focus on getting outdoors.
There'll be Fitness Villages at Kite Beach, Expo 2020 Dubai and Mushrif Park, 14 Fitness Hubs in business and residential communities across the city; major sporting events, and over 5,000 free fitness classes.
The Dubai Padel Cup, which includes free coaching and clinic sessions for amateurs, beginners and professionals, will make its debut this edition.
Meanwhile, the signature Dubai Ride on November 5 and Dubai Run on November 26 will return to Sheikh Zayed Road.
