H.H. Sheikh Mohammed meets King Charles at COP28

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met the UK's King Charles III on the sidelines of COP28 on Thursday.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed commended His Majesty's significant contributions to global efforts to combat climate change.

Their discussions also focused on strengthening international cooperation to reduce emissions, achieve climate neutrality, and promote sustainable practices that align with global priorities.

King Charles is scheduled to deliver the opening speech at the World Climate Action Summit on Friday, being held as part of COP28.

The UN Climate Change Conference, which brings together 180 heads of state and government, runs until December 12 at Expo City Dubai.
