His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has presided over the meeting of the Ministerial Development Council at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting's agenda featured discussions on various projects and proposals from ministries and federal entities, focusing on enhancing partnership opportunities with the private sector and initiatives to boost operational efficiency within the federal government.
Additionally, proposals to improve services provided by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme and policies aiming at advancing the efficiency of the country's financial markets were reviewed.
In government affairs, the Council discussed several proposed federal legislations in the sectors of culture, financial regulation, competition, economy, and tourism. It also considered recommendations and requests from the Federal National Council regarding various governmental topics.
The Council was briefed on the outcomes of the UAE's participation in multiple international conferences and events, the progress of implementing governmental strategies and programmes, and reports on the activities of various federal entities.
The number of vehicles in Dubai during daytime hours has reached 3.5 million, with a 10 per cent increase in registered vehicles over the past two years, compared to a global average of 2–4 per cent, according to Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
