New parking charges have been introduced around Dubai Frame and Dubai Garden Glow.

Motorists can park for free for up to 20 minutes, after which a AED 10 charge will apply for the entire day.

Dubai Municipality said the round-the-clock parking meters were introduced to prevent people from misusing spaces after residents from neighbouring areas were seen using the slots.

The authority has also introduced access cards for joggers at a monthly cost of AED 120 and AED 200 passes for local residents.
