Healthcare professionals in Abu Dhabi, including those in Intensive Care Units, will be trained via a new electronic platform as part of the efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

It has been launched at the Dubai World Trade Centre's GITEX Technology Week 2020.

The Department of Health - Abu Dhabi developed the 'Health Workforce Upskilling Platform' to continue ensuring a high level of responsiveness to the pandemic.

Ten free mandatory virtual courses have been tailored for those working in Intensive Care Units.

Five of the sessions are mandatory for all other health professionals in the Emirate.
