One dead, one injured in Ras Al Khaimah road crash

One person has died and another was injured in a road crash on Ras Al Khaimah's Shamal Street.

According to the police, the driver lost control of the vehicle and smashed into a traffic sign.

Emergency services arrived at the site and transferred the driver and the passenger to a nearby hospital. 

Despite efforts from the paramedics to revive the passenger, he succumbed to his injuries.  

The accident site has been handed over to the authorities for further investigation.
