VIDEO: Seven Dubai Metro stations launched

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced the inauguration of seven Dubai Metro stations.

The extension of the Red Line has been completed at a cost of AED 11 billion, Sheikh Mohammed announced on his official Twitter handle.

"Today we are launching our project. 12,000 engineers and technicians, 50 trains, 7 stations and 125,000 commuters daily, and after 80 million working hours, we provide what we promised," he wrote.
