The UAE and Germany have held talks on boosting bilateral relations.
This came during a meeting between His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The discussions in Berlin focused on the latest developments in the Middle East and other issues of mutual interest.
Sheikh Mohamed also praised Germany’s efforts to find a political solution to the crisis in Libya by hosting the Berlin conference, which will be held on Sunday.
The two sides agreed on the importance of building Libyan national institutions and restoring law and order to counter extremist forces as well as foreign interference.
