Taking into account the adverse weather conditions in the country, schools in the UAE have been advised to continue distance learning for one more day.

Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) urged "all Dubai private schools, nurseries and universities to be flexible and continue providing the option of distance learning on Tuesday, February 13".

Meanwhile, distance learning will continue in all public schools in the UAE on Tuesday, February 13, Emirates Education Foundation announced on its official social media handle.

The decision aims to preserve the safety of students and faculty, it added.
