UAE to reopen borders with Qatar today

The UAE will reopen land, air and sea ports with Qatar from today.

Making the announcement, Khalid Abdullah Belhoul, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, said all relevant authorities in the UAE have been notified of these measures.

He added that the UAE will work with Qatar to resolve all other outstanding issues through bilateral talks.

It comes after leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) signed the Al-Ula Communique and pledged to reinforce the bonds of fraternity and solidarity between the people of the region.
