H.H. Sheikh Mohammed links Dubai Media Inc to Dubai Media Council

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a law which affiliates Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) to Dubai Media Council.

Furthermore, H.H. Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum has been appointed as Chairman of DMI, while Mohammed Al Mulla will serve as its CEO.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, said the new law reflects the importance  Mohammed bin Rashid accords to media and is in line with H.H.’s directives to develop media establishments to keep pace with the emirate’s growing global prominence in the sector.

The new CEO of DMI, Mohamed Al Mulla, has had previous experience as Executive Director for Dubai Media City, Chief Executive Officer at Arab Media Group, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at DXB Entertainments and Chief Business Development Officer for Dubai Future Foundation.
