Siemens has signed a 10-year lease agreement to set up operations in Expo 2020 Dubai's District 2020.

The German company has been looking at ways to enhance its presence in the emirate's market.

Around 1,000 company employees are expected to work from the two buildings allocated for Siemens in District 2020.

Once the six-month-long event comes to an end, the area will be turned into residential, commercial and cultural neighbourhoods.
