Will Ferrell expected to be unveiled as Leeds United investor

Hollywood actor Will Ferrell is expected to be announced as a major investor in Championship football side Leeds United after buying a 'large stake' in the club.

The Elf star looks set to follow in the footsteps of fellow A-Lister Ryan Reynolds and become an investor in English football having reportedly fallen in love with the game. 

Ferrell is a regular at matches in the UK and is expected to be announced as an investor by the Leeds' US owners, 49ers Enterprises, after buying a 'large stake' in the club. 

Ferrell is also the co-owner of Los Angeles FC.
