The death toll from a strong 6.0-magnitude earthquake that struck China's southwestern Sichuan province rose to 11 on Tuesday.
Xinhua news agency said rescue efforts are underway in the stricken area, with 122 people being treated for injuries.
Authorities have relocated more than 4,000 people as dozens of structures collapsed following late Monday's earthquake outside Yibin in Sichuan province.
More than 300 firefighters have been dispatched to the scene, with rescue personnel sent with 5,000 tents, 10,000 folding cots and other emergency supplies.
According to China Earthquake Networks Centre, the quake struck outside the city of Yibin in Sichuan province at a depth of 16 km.
