In a bid to contain the spread of COVID-19, the Indian state of Goa on Sunday launched an app to monitor the movement of those placed under quarantine.
The 'COVID-Locator' is a GPS-based location tracker that would help the government ensure quarantine rules aren't violated.
"To further safeguard our citizens, we are introducing 'COVID-Locator' to track home quarantined patients," said an official statement.
So far, the state has seven positive cases of coronavirus, with the country's total number crossing over 3,300.
