Five Palestinian journalists were killed when their marked media van was struck by an Israeli airstrike in central Gaza's Nuseirat on early Thursday, the enclave's health authorities said.
The strike was reported near Al-Awda hospital when they were covering events in its vicinity. Videos on social media showed a van labeled "press" in large, red lettering engulfed in flames.
The deceased journalists have been identified as Fadi Hassouna, Ibrahim al-Sheikh Ali, Mohammed al-Ladah, Faisal Abu al-Qumsan and Ayman al-Jadi from the Al-Quds Today channel.
In a separate incident, five people were killed and 20 injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in Gaza City's Zeitoun neighborhood, medics reported. They warned the death toll could rise as many remained trapped under the rubble.
There was no immediate Israeli comment on the reported strikes.
