US President Donald Trump's impeachment trial will begin in the US Senate on Tuesday.
US chief justice John Roberts will preside over the trial as 100 members of the Senate will gather at 1800 GMT to decide if Trump abused his office.
He is accused of trying to pressure Ukraine into interfering in the 2020 US election, and ordering an investigation of former Vice President Joe Biden.
"The president did nothing wrong," Trump's lawyers responded in a 110-page brief submitted to the Senate on Monday.
This is the third a US President has undergone an impeachment trial, after Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1999.
