The 4th Dubai Police ESports Tournament kicked off on Friday, featuring 800 players and teams.
The event, which runs until December 22 at the Dubai Police Officers Club in Al Jaddaf, highlights the growing interest in e-sports, especially among youth.
It also promotes balanced gaming habits and raises awareness about online safety.
Offering AED 200,000 in prizes, the tournament features games like Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, and Fortnite. Visitors can also explore a gaming exhibition with over 20 retailers.
Additionally, the event will host awareness activities on cybercrime, digital safety and responsible gaming. Over 500 students are participating, alongside an international symposium on e-gaming’s positive impact, cybersecurity and addiction prevention.
