Ras Al Khaimah has launched a Golden Visa programme aimed at attracting and retaining top talent in the educational sector.
The scheme, announced by Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) offers long-term residency to qualified private school educators working and residing in the emirate.
It's open to two key groups: school leaders (principals, vice principals, directors, heads of department) and teachers.
To qualify, educators must meet specific criteria, including a minimum of three years of residency and employment in Ras Al Khaimah, a relevant advanced degree, and a proven positive impact on school performance.
RAK DOK will streamline the application process, which includes submitting documents such as an appointment letter, proof of qualifications, residency and employment details and evidence of contributions to school success.
Once approved, eligible applicants will be directed to the UAE's Federal Authority For Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) for Golden Visa processing.
Dr. Abdulrahman Al Naqbi, a board member of RAK DOK, said that the initiative will help establish Ras Al Khaimah as a hub for world-class education by retaining talented teachers and school leaders who positively impact student outcomes.
