A clever dog has won over the internet for pulling off a hilarious stunt in order to avoid his nails being trimmed.

The video that captures the Pitbull's "Oscar-worthy performance" has garnered over 6 million views so far.

"The Academy Award for best dramatic performance goes to…," reads the caption posted on Twitter by user Rashona.

The 10-seconds-long clip shows the dog dramatically "fainting" just as its owner attempts to clip its nails.
