Body of UAE serviceman martyred in Yemen repatriated

The body of an Emirati serviceman who died in Yemen’s port city of Aden has been repatriated. Captain Hadif Humaid Al Shamsi Al Taher’s body was accorded special military honours at Abu Dhabi’s Al Bateen Airport, in the presence of a number of senior armed forces officers. He was part of the Saudi Arabia-led Arab coalition’s ‘Operation Restoring Hope’, which backs the legitimate government of Yemen. The General Command of the Armed Forces has extended its condolences to the family and relatives of the martyr.
