Three sports facilities have been penalised for failing to comply with COVID-19 precautionary measures.

Teams from Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Economy issued the fines during the latest inspections.

Warnings were issued to three other establishments for not adhering to the safety guidelines.

In the last week, the Sports Council has also posted a reminder of the rules that everyone should observe when taking part in sporting events.

These include the requirement to wear masks, have temperature checks, avoid shaking hands and maintain social distancing.
