COVID-19: UAE announces 624 new cases, one death

The UAE has announced 624 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 37,642.

That’s according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP), which also confirmed that over 44,000 new tests have been carried out.

One more person has died from the virus, bringing the total death toll in the Emirates to 274, while 765 people have recovered, meaning there have now been 20,337 recoveries across the UAE.
