COVID-19: UAE priority groups urged to receive vaccine

Elderly people and those with chronic illnesses in the UAE are being encouraged to get inoculated against the COVID-19 virus.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority has issued a reminder on its social media accounts.

The statement noted that in line with the national efforts to protect the society’s health, "we encourage the public to get the effective vaccination."

It added that the drive has been approved following "rigorous global standards."
