Prize pot increased at Gov Games

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai has increased the prize fund for this years Gov Games from AED 2 to AED 3 million.

106 men's teams are competing over gruelling obstacle course, with just six teams making it through to the final on Saturday.

It saw 62 female teams taking part on the opening day on Wednesday.

The games are a team building challenge for domestic, regional and international government departments to encourage unity and determination.
