Fines issued to motorists due to the traffic restrictions in Dubai in the past two days will be waived.
According to Dubai Police, any radar fines issued on Saturday, April 4, or Sunday, April 5, will be removed.
This comes after Dubai extended its National Sterilisation Programme to 24 hours a day for two weeks starting Saturday.
Police officials are urging the public to obtain a movement permit before leaving the house to avoid fines or any legal action taken against them.
Moving forward, residents can apply for permits on https://dxbpermit.gov.ae/permit.

They also revealed that people travelling to other emirates through Dubai will not be fined, provided that they do not stop in Dubai and that they use inter-emirates roads like Mohammed bin Zayed road and Emirates road.
