Sheikh Mohammed meets Egyptian President in Beijing

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, held talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in Beijing.

The two leaders, who met on the sidelines of the global summit on China's Belt and Road initiative, discussed ways of boosting cooperation between their countries as well as key developments in the region.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed the UAE’s appreciation for Egypt’s stand on critical issues affecting the region, while the Egyptian leader commended the UAE’s role in supporting regional efforts to achieve security, stability and prosperity for all countries.

He added that the UAE has become a model for sustainable development, for not only the region but also the entire world.
