Inspectors from Dubai Municipality have ordered two more closures as they continue their crackdown on firms failing to abide by the COVID-19 precautionary measures.
A salon in Dubai’s Karama district has been shut for overcrowding and personal hygiene violations.
The authority has increased checks for COVID-19 compliance during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Another launderette was closed in Naif for breaking health protocols.
A total 27 warnings were issued by the inspectors, who’ve now carried out 2,384 visits.
Just two per cent of the establishments checked have been in breach of the rules.
