UAE expresses solidarity with India following devastating floods

The UAE has expressed solidarity with India after heavy rains and floods in two northern states resulted in multiple deaths and injuries.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its condolences and sympathy to the Indian government and people, and to the families of the victims.

It also wished a speedy recovery of all the injured.

At least 57 people have been killed due to floods and landslides triggered by heavy rains in the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand over the weekend.
